Where We Started
The company started in Kingwood. That's where ABM Cabinets was built from the ground up. Cabinets and remodeling work for homeowners in the Kingwood area. Over time, we followed the growth up the 45 corridor and moved operations to Conroe, where The Woodlands and Montgomery County represented a bigger market.
We still serve Kingwood today. That's home base. But Conroe is where we've been for over a decade, and it's where most of our work is.
What We Do
ABM Cabinets handles full kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, custom and semi-custom cabinet supply and installation, outdoor kitchens, and countertop fabrication and installation. We work with homeowners doing a single room and contractors who need a reliable cabinet and install partner across multiple builds.
We're not a one-trade operation. When we take on a remodel, we manage the full scope: one contract, one timeline, and one number to call when you have a question.
How We Work
Every project starts with a free in-home estimate. We come to you, look at the space, and have a real conversation about what you want and what it'll take. No vague ballpark ranges. After we see the space, we give you a clear number.
From there, it's a design consultation: materials, layouts, finishes. We don't rush this part. Picking wrong here is the thing that leads to regret later.
Once everything is locked in, we pull permits where required, build on schedule, and do a final walkthrough with you before we consider the job done.
The People
Jamie Murphey has led ABM Cabinets through over 20 years of growth in this market. Ken Johnson brings the field and product expertise. Between them, they know cabinet lines, remodeling trades, and the Montgomery County permit process better than most.
The crew that builds your project is the same crew that's been building in Conroe for years. We don't rotate in people who've never done this before.
